The International MPS Symposium
Held every three years, this global gathering serves as the premier event for the MPS community. The Symposium showcases cutting-edge research, innovative therapies, and advancements in patient care while offering invaluable opportunities for networking and collaboration. With dedicated tracks for families, clinicians, and researchers, the Symposium addresses the diverse needs of the entire community.
From June 4–7, 2026, we invite you to join us in Florence, Italy, as we bring together the global MPS and related lysosomal storage disorder (LSD) community. Together, we will reflect on 20 years of progress and set our sights on the next 20 years of innovation, advocacy, and global collaboration. This milestone event will unite patients, families, researchers, healthcare professionals, and industry partners to shape the future of care, scientific discovery, and health equity worldwide.
Reflecting on 20 Years to Shape the Next 20
As we commemorate two decades of progress from the last time the Symposium was held in Italy in 2006, the 2026 theme encourages us to reflect on our achievements and strategize for the future, ensuring continued advancements in research, treatment, and support for the MPS community, with a focus on digital technology and underserved countries.
