ASDG Seminar and Social Event - NSW / ACT branch

Introducing a new seminar and social event being held on August 2nd in Macquarie Park for all NSW and ACT branch members. Join us to hear some invigorating seminars highlighting genomics research projects that have had an enormous positive impact on routine diagnostic genomics and patient care. With the added bonus of bringing a plus one!

Clinical Professor Bruce Bennetts & the TRAIL team- presenting: The TRAIL project and the broader Australian Newborn Screening Project in the context of GenSCAN

 

Social Event

After the seminar is complete we will move to a more casual setting to allow attending members the opportunity to network with other scientists from our branches.

 

Bring a Plus One

For anyone who may be considering joining the ASDG, the event will allow for a plus one. So if you have a colleague that is considering joining the ASDG, bring them along! Remember to register yourself and your guest to secure two spots (places are limited).

Details

  • Seats will be allocated in a first in first served fashion (so get in quick)
  • Parking is limited so consider public transport (Macquarie Park station is a short walk away) or carpooling where possible.
  • Food and drink is not included but good vibes are
  • The event starts at 5:30pm sharp, please arrive by 5:15pm to allow time for registration.
  • Registration is open from 5:00pm to 5:25pm

How to register:

  1. You must be a member of the HGSA and ASDG, and signed in to the website. 
  2. Click on Register Myself below
  3. Add the name of your laboratory. If you are bringing a plus one, include their name. Click Save Responses. 
  4. Enter the quantity of people attending under your registration, 1 or 2 for the Seminar. Click Add. 
  5. Enter the quantity of people attending under your registration, 1 or 2 for the Social Event. Click Add.
  6. Click Proceed to Checkout to Confirm Registration
